The Harvest Moon Festival first started in 2012 by the Norwich Pagan Moot to provide a day of talks and workshops for the magical, pagan and occult communities within Norwich and the surrounding area. It was such a huge success, that we quickly found ourselves looking for a bigger venue, as we couldn't fit anyone else in. After sometime looking around, we managed to find a new venue and our second year of the festival took place at the historical and beautiful Norwich Puppet Theatre.

The second year was once again a success, with over 100 people in attendance at the event from places all across the country and even abroad; it was no longer just a festival for those in Norfolk. We had headline speakers coming back to Norfolk for the first time in many years and a diverse range of topics covered for people from all different paths and traditions. One of the things we absolutely strived for (and still do), was to provide quality speakers from all different backgrounds with a wealth of practical and theoretical knowledge and wisdom to inspire the community. If you would like to watch some of the talks or find out more about previous events, please visit the previous years page.

In our third year we opened up the organisation of the event, so that we had members of many different moots, organisations and groups planning and working together to try and make the event even better. We had nearly 200 people in attendance, as well as our first ever evening concert. We also took the steps to become the official autumn festival of the Pagan Federation within East Anglia.

The Harvest Moon festival is now run by the Pagan Federation Norfolk, with all profit made by the festival going straight back into developing it and other community projects. It is run by a team of volunteers and organisers, who give up their own time to ensure we can put on the best event possible.

We are always keen to hear from local and national organisations, as we believe that the principle of community is very important one and part of our own undertaking in this work, is to provide our attendees with information on the day about everything that is happening in the region.
